Greetings from Virginia Beach! It’s seventy degrees here. Shaun and I were psyched to do one of our training runs outdoors yesterday, but were quickly shocked by the warmth and humidity. Who knew I’d sweat in a t-shirt and shorts on the first day of winter? Grady’s enjoying his travels, too – along with an adorable container of homemade biscuits that Evan’s mom baked for him! They’re perfect. Anyway, back to re-capping 2011…
Like any other year, my year was filled with food. Special thanks to the blog, there’s a cyber-paper trail of what I cooked, allowing for some drool-worthy reflection time. I thought I’d re-link to the recipes I stumbled upon this year that I can’t get enough of and can’t wait to make again in the new year. If you haven’t given them a try, I highly recommend!
